From the psychedelic noise and washed out guitar that opens the track to the dreamy, almost Stereolab-ish meets vocals, Alligators bite you with “Where Does It Hide.” They are, to be sure, psychedelic pop. One can hear the Beach Boys in elements, but there is a modern sound as well. . Just to cover their bases they throw in some rock, heavy on the drum and bass. Psychedelic elements and borderline 80′s synth and rhythm guitar provide punctuation. ” Sometimes pulling from so many places works for the song and sometimes it doesn’t but overall it is a good song with a great melody.
