A wee bit of the new, a wee bit of the old. . . that seems to accurately depict what the Old Believers are attempting to accomplish with their unique brand of pop infused, organic song craft. “No More” shines as a pertinent example of what Old Believers are able to achieve by utilizing familiar acoustic sounds paired with slightly digitalized vocal effects and intelligent arrangements. Keeley Boyle’s voice shines as it effortlessly glides over the simplistic aural backdrop created by Nelson Kempf who uses a delicate mixture guitar, banjo, and digitized vocals. The end result is a competent mixture of intriguing sonic indulgences that gently beacons the listener to continue enjoying the output of Old Believers.
