Braids Announce Fall Shows

The Canadian electro pop group Braids has been working on new material, and will be playing much of it in September. The band will be playing a handful of shows to kick off the autumn season, the most significant being an appearance at the ATP Festival on September 23rd in New York. The three day event includes heavy hitting artists like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Roots, and even ambient composer Philip Glass.

Braids will be releasing their follow up to 2011′s acclaimed album Native Speaker sometime in early 2013. The band claims they have driven their sound deeper into the realm of electronic music, with more techno and house elements. You can hear these newest songs in September at the dates below.
