“Get It Right Now” is the first track from Funk Man (The Stimulus Package), which can be downloaded in its entirety for free at the link to the right. Del has come a long way from ripping off Parliament wholesale. He’s been making music for almost twenty years at this point and he just keeps getting better and better. Though this track is repetitive, the rest of the album is full of Del’s usual playful flow. The funky music impels, “get it right now.” You have no excuse. It’s damn fine Del and it’s free.
