Evan Voytas-Getting Higher

Evan Voytas’ “Getting Higher” is a song and a title that can be taken on many different levels. It could refer to Evan’s screeching falsetto or the vocal effect he uses on the chorus. It could be the shimmering layer of music residing just above the bass line. Thematically it may refer to a state of being or a drug induced haze (the words are obscured enough to make both interpretations possible.) Or, it could refer to the feeling you get while listening to the song. It’s from his new EP The New Dynamic Sound of Evan Voytas. It certainly is Evan, it certainly is.
