The Penelope(s)-Demian (Black Strobe Remix)

The Penelope(s) are a French duo that have gotten a lot of attention from a number of DJ’s and musicians, including DJ Hell and it’s easy to see why. A bouncy keyboard line opens the track until it is joined by Dierdre’s sweeping voice and all is gentle until it opens up into some techno noise. It’s a great track made even better by Dierdre’s (of Ekova) vocal assistance, besides, you’ve got to love a band that names a song after a Herman Hesse novel. Their album, Priceless Concrete Echoes is set to drop in August.
