Paper Diamond Announces Oak + Diamond Academy In Boulder

Colorado native Paper Diamond is announcing the Elm & Oak Academy at the Colorado University of Boulder campus. Paper Diamond’s Elm & Oak (Exclusive Limited Merchandise and One of A Kinds) is a record label, design shop, and clothing line, delivering inspiration and creativity to Colorado and beyond. The label currently releases music from Paper Diamond, Two Fresh, Raw Russ, and Black Actors (Quiz and .anansi).

The Elm & Oak shop in the heart of downtown Boulder is a gallery boutique, and features a monthly art event showcasing local and non-local contemporary artists. These popular events each feature a musical performer and an official afterparty at a nearby venue. The shop carries a variety of art, apparel and accessories. The co-owners, Alex Botwin (Paper Diamond) and Berk Visual, are constantly working as designers to continue to further the brand and translate their aesthetics into wearable art.

Elm & Oak also functions as a full service design firm, where they create brand identity, merchandise, promotional materials, album art, web design, social media enhancement, etc.

Elm & Oak will be putting on a monthly music event at the Bluebird Theater in Denver. They will be showcasing the best of the best from the rapidly growing Colorado music scene as well as from all over the country. The Elm & Oak crew will be the resident DJs, with a special headliner for each installment. There will be solo DJ sets from Kendo and Shweez of Two Fresh as well as .anansi of Black Actors and Raw Russ.

The fall installment of the Elm & Oak Artist Series will bring together the community of showcase emerging artists. On the second Wednesday of every month for 4 months (starting in September), Elm & Oak will highlight a series of art events at their gallery. These events aim to showcase local and international art talent along the Front Range. The gallery event will be followed by an after show at a local venue, which will also feature some of the leading national and local musicians.
