Couldn’t have imagined being so happy getting woken up as when I was by indie rock band Cold War Kids. We finally take advantage of our media passes (not good enough for ‘the village’ , a bougeouis campsite whose main variance from regular camping is more expensive cocktails) by catching a private showing backstage of this modern day blues rock band whose latest gig was headlining for Deathcab. With his high pitch powerful projection, Nathan Willet is Cold War Kids.
Moriah to Cold War Kids Lead Singer, Nathan Willet: How are the artist bathrooms?
Mr. Willet: Are you asking me a question, or are you asking me if you can ask me a question?
Moriah: The second one.
Nathan: Yes, and the artist bathrooms are pretty nice.
